FEatured project
I’m based in Birmingham, Alabama, and I photograph architecture across the Southeast. I have not yet worked on a project in Miami, but the city’s design culture and pace of development make it a market I’ve studied closely. This page shares my perspective on what architectural photography in Miami demands and how I would approach projects there.
This amphitheater is part of a larger shift happening across Birmingham. Investment in public venues and shared spaces that bring people together and pull activity into different parts of the city.
Photographing projects like this isn’t about making them look bigger than they are. It’s about showing how they fit into Birmingham as it exists right now.

The city also moves fast. A completed tower in Brickell may sit next to an active construction site. A restored Art Deco hotel in the MiMo district might be flanked by scaffolding. Capturing architecture in Miami means understanding the pace of the city and knowing when a project is ready to be seen at its best.
These are challenges I’m familiar with from working in other fast-growing cities across the Southeast. The specifics change from place to place, but the discipline stays the same: study the conditions, plan around them, and show up when the building is ready.

FEatured project
Not yet. My work has been concentrated across the Southeast — Alabama, Tennessee, and Georgia. But I’ve studied Miami’s architectural landscape closely, and the process I use is designed to adapt to new markets. I scout every location thoroughly before shooting, whether it’s a city I know well or one I’m working in for the first time.
Yes. I regularly travel for projects across the Southeast, and Miami is a market I’m actively looking to work in. I handle all travel logistics and build scouting time into the timeline so there’s no disruption to your schedule.
The same types I photograph throughout the Southeast: commercial developments, hospitality spaces, residential architecture, historic restorations, and public or institutional buildings. My experience with these project types translates directly to the work being done across South Florida.
Yes. Most of my clients are architecture firms, general contractors, and developers. I also work with interior designers and real estate developers who need their spaces documented professionally.
Yes, most projects benefit from a quick walkthrough or location scout, even if it’s informal. That helps with timing, understanding sightlines, and deciding when light will be doing the most work for the space.
Yes. I offer both architectural photography and video. Many of my clients use both to support marketing, press, and award submissions.
