FEatured project
The Central Florida Renovation is a thoughtful reworking of a 1970s ranch outside Orlando, completed in Winter 2026 by SWRL Studio with Groninger Custom Homes and Eagle Custom Installations on the fine carpentry. The project opened sightlines, raised ceiling lines without altering the original roof structure, and brought in natural light through new skylights. Walnut built-ins and aging-in-place features stitched the new and the old together — a strong example of the residential renovation work reshaping Orlando’s mid-century housing stock.
Photographing the Central Florida Renovation meant working with the Florida light and the renovation’s intent in tandem. The Florida sun is relentless, and the seasonal humidity changes how interiors read on camera. The new skylights and opened sightlines transformed how light moved through the house compared to the original 1970s plan, and the photos document that change alongside the walnut built-ins and aging-in-place layout.

Yes. My most recent Orlando project was the Central Florida Renovation, photographed for SWRL Studio with Groninger Custom Homes on the build and Eagle Custom Installations on the fine carpentry. The project completed in Winter 2026.
Yes. Florida is a regular travel market for me. I drive when the schedule allows it and fly when it does not.
Commercial, residential, hospitality, mixed-use, and public or institutional. I prioritize considered architecture, not stock interiors.
Yes. Most of my work originates from architects, design studios, and builders. Image use and credit are negotiated up front. The Central Florida Renovation, for example, was a cost-shared arrangement between the design studio and the carpentry shop.
Yes. Pre-opening and pre-occupancy shoots are common in commercial and hospitality work. I plan around the construction timeline.
Yes. I run both as parallel workflows from the same scout. The video uses the same natural-light philosophy as the stills.
Send me a note through the contact page with the location, design team, project type, and timeline. I will come back with availability and a clear next step.
